The Boys and Girls Club serves as an alternative to after school activities for students in grades 1-8. The work I have done here has been extremely fulfilling, and a position I would recommend to fellow art educators. My work here involves creating one hour art activities for this diverse group. Many of these students do not have the opportunity to explore art in their school day or at their home. With this volunteering position I am able to fill this gap and inspire students to pursue an art.
