Julie received her B.F.A. from Carnegie Mellon University School of Fine Arts in 1991, and her M.F.A from Massachusetts College of Art in 2000.  

Prior to starting a Family in 2006, Julie taught at the New Hampshire Institute of Art from 2004-2006, and Exeter Center for Creative Arts 2001-2005.  

Julie is currently teaching in the Fine Arts Department at Farmington High School in Farmington, New Hampshire.  

 "I have come to value every students unique creative abilities as my own work continues to develop. Discovering ways to instill Focus, Practice and Inquiry in my student's studio experience enriches my own painting practice.  It is my goal to provide learning experiences where students can find meaningful and purposeful modes of expression."
