The Envisioning Change project will incorporate historical maps and contemporary digital maps as means for visualizing sea level change. The image below is a GIS (Geographic Information System) map created with data from the Portland Office of GIS. It provides an overview of Portland neighborhoods and shows the location of Knudsen Pond in East Bayside and Somerset Lagoon in West Bayside.
