Outside Assignment for the rest of the semester: Make 100 drawings of the same thing. That means approximately 7 drawings per week. 

Consider format orientation (portrait, landscape) and size; surface quality of paper (rough, smooth); character of line (thin, thick, rough, smooth); interaction between paper and drawing tool; size/scale (larger than life, smaller than life, fit to page, small on page, extends off page); position or placement (centered, off center, diagonal, vertical, horizontal; texture (surface or visual/tactile quality of the object being drawn); value (lights and darks); amount of time spent on drawing. 

Keep the drawings in a safe place; you will be asked to bring them in for formative and final critiques of assignment.
